Manufacturers often have assessments of done on their products and/or product contents. These may be to support various certification programs or to provide additional information to customers. Examples include performance, safety, exposure, and risk assessments.
- The HPD provides a specified process for reporting the results of chemical hazard assessment using GreenScreen® for Safer Chemicals. Chemical hazard assessment information is reported, per substance, in Section 2: Content Inventory. Note that only the results of publicly published GreenScreen Benchmark assessments may be provided on the HPD. The existence of non-public assessments may be noted in Substance Notes.
- If an assessment has resulted in a certification, this information can be reported in Section 3: "Certifications and Compliance."
- For other types of assessment information, the manufacturer may report this information in the "Notes" sections of the HPD, wherever the information would be most appropriate. The HPD includes notes sections at the Product, Material and Substance levels.Â
If you have assessment data that does not fit in one of these locations, or if you have questions, please contact HPDC support via this website.
