You may request product data to tier 1 suppliers by going to your Factory in the HPD Builder and sending a "Part" request to your supplier. “Part” is defined in the HPD Open Standard as the term we use as the organizing unit for the item supplied by the supplier, (as opposed to using the word “product,” which is used for the name of the end product of the manufacturer). Part is requested by the identifier(s) the manufacturer uses to purchase the part.
To create a “New Part Request” go to the HPD Builder > Dashboard > Factory> Supplier Parts > New Part Request. Fill in the information and send the request to your supplier. Your supplier will receive an email notifying your request and a link to go to the Supplier HPD Builder Extension to complete it.
